Immersive Video Player For The Web

I made a short immersive film and I packaged it up as an app for the Apple Vision Pro but it was rejected because it was "simply a movie." Apple says, this is something that should be submitted to the iTunes store but they don't actually let you submit short, immersive films. Safari in visionOS 26 (coming out this fall) will support these videos embedded on the web but the 2D playback is just the flat, half-equirectangular file.

So I created an immersive video player for the web that's free to use. Read all about it, test it out, and get the code at Github. I'd love to know if you use it.

Here's the 2D view in action on that short film I made—Blandscape.
